About

Linda Cook Cain

My name is Linda and this is my website.  I live in the lovely State of Colorado where I have a wonderful view of the Rocky Mountains. Most of my family also live here.

The main purpose of this site is to display and share “My Family History”.  I have been researching genealogy for over 30 years and have gathered over 12,000 family members. Although a lot of these people are not in my direct line, I have added them to help others who are more closely related to them and who are also searching.

Aunt Betty and Me

This is me and my Aunt Betty who lost her long hard battle with colon cancer on May 6th 2005. She is forever in my heart...

Some of my links you will notice are cancer related since I was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in February of 2004. I had surgery and went through 6 months of nasty chemotherapy. Today, 6-1/2 years later, I can say that I am cancer-free. Your thoughts and prayers are welcomed as I am hoping it will stay that way.

Please make sure to visit some of the cancer sites to show your support. One site I highly recommend is the Chemo Angels site which is a non-profit organization of volunteers that very graciously support and give their time to other cancer patients going through treatment. The Angels are wonderful, which I know from first-hand experience, as they helped and supported me through a very difficult time in my life! To pay it forward, I am now an Angel to a cancer buddy. http://www.chemoangels.com/
